I have sat on this URL for years now, daydreaming about writing a blog and what that would mean for my state of mind. I took a negative stance, as that seemed to fit with my personality but also seemed somewhat humorous (hey kids, the world is ending and I’m going to joke about it!). Instead, it was just not very inspiring to me.
I also hoped that I could explore other topics such as meditation, food, maybe working out/jiu jitsu, but nothing seemed to really get me going or inspire me to write here. I like the idea of this being pretty much anonymous. No one will ever find this site (famous last words). So instead, it’s a way for me to chronicle the days and times of my life.
To do so in a positive way, and without being overly focused on outcomes and thus ensure failure, I would like instead to turn this into more of a cooking/learning blog where I can chronicle my successes and failures in the kitchen. We have a lot of cook books that I can use beyond the websites and other resources online. I hope here to slowly without pressure become a better cook, make delicious meals for myself and my wife and whatever else inspires or beckons to me going forward.
First cookbook I’d like to explores is José Andrés’ “The World Kitchen Cookbook” filled with not just great recipes but the philosophy of his organization, which is so inspiring. So here we go!
